Self Cooling Packs Productions, Inc.

Executive Summary

Self Cooling Packs Productions Inc. (“SCP”) is a New York-based company established in 2010.  Its principals have developed a process for efficient thermal transfer.  SCP’s first patent covers a cooling process activated by pulling tabs incorporated in the packaging of perishable products.  The process induces a very cold environment that allows extended refrigeration within product packaging and extends the time that perishable products needing refrigeration can be safely used in the event of power outage.

SCP’s second technology transfers cold energy from any source (e.g., Freon spray cans) to highly conductive materials and pads that can be placed on areas of the body requiring cold treatment.  The portable pads are compact and can be recharged to deliver continuous cooling to injured or sensitive areas.  This promotes faster healing and recovery for both bedridden and active patients.

The SCP technology can be integrated into the packaging of products to extend the safe shelf life of medical treatment products, food products and other items requiring refrigeration including emergency supplies.  It can also be used to manage cold supply chain processes in a variety of commercial, emergency, crisis response and military scenarios.  The cooling pad technology can be used for products and treatment processes in medical and rehabilitation products and offerings.

There are few effective and affordable alternatives to products incorporating similar technology in today’s marketplace.  Some available products require activation by water or other mechanisms, which generate minimal amount of coldness and only a negligible improvement in extending shelf life or safe use time of perishable products.

Market Entry.  The SCP technology can be best exploited by its rapid introduction into the market.  Given the reality of today’s economic marketplace, SCP’s intent is to license its technology to strategic partners who are already leaders in market segments and can utilize the commercial value of the technology with their current client base and then use their technology-enhanced products to expand market share.

Management Team.  Mr. Jim Benjamin developed the technology and founded SCP with his brother, Mr. Bruce Benjamin, a financial management specialist.  Both have global experience in business and real estate, in business management and structured communication systems and in resource application.  Their experiences provide them the vision and task-competence needed to manage aggressive marketing strategies to help their partners increase market share as they take the SCP technology into the market.

Additional key members of SCP’s management team are Mr. Ramin Benjamin and Mr. Irfan Sayed, each of whom has marketing, research, and structured business planning experience.  Mr. Sayed is the POC for foreign contracts with medical and food industry market leaders, primarily in the Middle East and the United States, and supports the development of product lines to be marketed to developing countries where portable refrigeration is not readily available.

SCP now seeks additional funds to:

1.  Finance market entry,

2.  Structure strong strategic alliances with market leaders in key industries for whom the SCP technology offers product and market expansion potential,

3.  Defray a portion of the costs of prototype and commercial product development for products specifically important to SCP’s strategic marketing partners, and

4.  Implement SCP’s integrated logistics systems and support operations to service and provide after-sales support for the products of its strategic alliance partners. As in all such endeavors, time to market is of the essence to fully realize the economic benefits of SCP’s technology.

Funding.  SCP invites interested parties to discuss its technology and strategic business plans.  Should there be interest in supporting SCP’s initiatives, SCP will work closely with potential funders to structure funding arrangements that are sensitive to their financial and tax planning requirements.  Close adherence to and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations will be maintained so as to protect the interests of all parties affiliated with the enterprise.  All arrangements will be structured to promote business and financial success for the benefit of all parties.

Contact.  For more information, interested parties should contact Mr. Bruce Benjamin.
